What is it...

...about the human mind which fascinates? It is such an ideal locale for exploration, such an intriguing phenomena. It can bring peace and love in one scenario, fear and nightmare in another. In my professional opinion there is nothing more interesting than the human mind and it's capacity for thought and feeling. True, most psychologists may tell you this or that about the non-existance of a soul, but I'm not like that. Each individual is someone to be explored, something to learn about.

And in no way can these individuals exist without a soul, I'll tell you that.

My name is Dr. Samuel Wright, Jr. My father was a small-time businessman in Illinois and my mother...well, I never really saw my mother. I suppose that's part of why I decided to go into this profession. Whenever I had problems, whenever I would fill with angst and resentment for the world around me, I went and I talked to my friends, and helped them with their problems. It helped. Knowing they were grateful for my help, even silently, filled me with a sense of achievement.

I know I sound rather wordy. In future posts I'll try to keep that down. :)

I work in a medical clinic, a mental facility now, actually. I am putting this blog in place to discuss and, hopefully, share with others the way it feels to help people and to make a difference. I will hopefully be able to let you in on some nteresting cases I deal with on a day-to-day basis, particularly ones which provide me with a hefty challenge.

I'll fill you in on personal and professional things in the future, girlfriend is calling me downstairs at the moment!

-Dr. Sam.

  1. This should be an interesting blog. I'll be following closely.

One question though, why did you tag "marble", "hornets", and "slenderman"? Are you studying him or something?

  2. Huh, never mind. I guess I was just imagining those tags.

Although I'm sad to see there hasn't been an update yet. Waiting patiently with f5 :D
